Swedish-Australian karting driver Axel “Axeman” Gore will return to the track this weekend at the WSK Super Master Series round in Franciacorta, running from March 18–22, where he will compete in the OKN-Junior class with Team Driver.

Gore has spent the past few weeks recovering after sustaining a fractured elbow following contact on the opening lap of the WSK Euro Series Final at Viterbo on February 14. The injury sidelined him for three race weekends while he completed his recovery under medical guidance.
After being cleared by doctors, Gore returned to the kart last weekend for testing and immediately showed strong pace, quickly getting back up to speed in the OKN-J machinery and leaving both the team and his management encouraged ahead of the upcoming round.
Now fully fit and eager to get back on track, Gore heads into Franciacorta feeling confident and motivated to continue building momentum in his first season in the Junior category.
Axel Gore:
“It feels great to be back in the kart. The arm feels good again and testing went really well, so I’m excited to get back racing this weekend with Team Driver and keep learning.”
With promising speed already shown in testing, Gore will look to pick up where he left off as the WSK Super Master Series resumes at Franciacorta.
